Dolphin Wave 80: Efficient Robotic Pool Cleaning for Commercial Pools

Maintaining a clean swimming pool is essential for commercial facilities where water quality, hygiene and swimmer satisfaction are priorities. The Dolphin Wave 80 is a fully automated robotic pool cleaner designed to simplify pool maintenance for small to medium-sized commercial pools up to 20 metres long.

Suitable for hotels, campgrounds, schools and other commercial facilities, the Dolphin Wave 80 pool cleaner combines intelligent navigation, high-capacity filtration and comprehensive cleaning coverage to help keep pools clean with less manual effort.

What Is the Dolphin Wave 80 Commercial Pool Cleaner?

The Dolphin Wave 80 is a commercial robotic pool cleaner developed by Maytronics to deliver reliable, automated cleaning. It cleans the pool floor, walls and waterline, collecting dirt, dust and fine debris throughout its cleaning cycle.

Unlike a conventional manual pool vacuum that requires an operator to guide the cleaning process, the Dolphin Wave 80 cleane uses CleverClean navigation technology to optimise its cleaning coverage. Its automated operation helps reduce the time and effort required for routine pool maintenance.

With plug-and-play functionality, the Dolphin Wave 80 robotic pool cleaner is designed to make everyday pool cleaning more straightforward for commercial operators.

Key Features of the Dolphin Wave 80 Pool Cleaner

1. Intelligent CleverClean Navigation

The Dolphin Wave 80 pool cleaner features CleverClean navigation technology, which uses self-adjusting software to optimise cleaning coverage. This helps the robotic pool cleaner navigate the pool systematically rather than relying on manual guidance.

For commercial pool operators, efficient navigation supports consistent cleaning and helps reduce the workload associated with maintaining busy swimming facilities.

2. Comprehensive Floor, Wall and Waterline Cleaning

The Dolphin Wave 80 robotic pool cleaner cleans three important areas of a swimming pool:

• Pool floor, where dirt and settled debris accumulate.

• Pool walls, where contaminants can collect.

• Waterline, where oils and other residues may be built up.

Cleaning these areas in one automated cycle helps simplify pool maintenance and supports a cleaner swimming environment.

3. Advanced Filtration Options

Different pools collect different types of debris. The Dolphin Wave 80 pool vacuum offers interchangeable fine and ultra-fine filter cartridge options, allowing operators to select filtration suited to their pool conditions.

Its high-capacity filtration system captures dirt, dust and fine debris. A filter full indicator also helps operators identify when the filter requires attention, supporting more convenient routine maintenance.

4. Dual-Active Combined Brushes

The Dolphin Wave 80 robotic pool cleaner uses dual-active combined brushes to help loosen and collect debris from pool surfaces. Combined with its navigation and filtration systems, this brushing action supports a thorough cleaning process.

5. Flexible Cleaning Cycles

The Dolphin Wave 80 pool cleaner offers three cleaning cycle options:

• 1.5 hours

• 2.5 hours

• 3.5 hours

These options give operators flexibility when scheduling cleaning around pool usage, debris levels and maintenance requirements. A delay start indicator provides additional convenience when planning cleaning routines.

6. Remote Control and Easy Operation

The Dolphin Wave 80 pool cleaner includes a remote control for manual operation when specific areas need additional attention. Its plug-and-play design also makes it straightforward to operate as part of a regular commercial pool maintenance routine.

7. Swivel Cable and Convenient Storage

The cleaner comes with a 24-metre swivel cable designed to help prevent tangling during operation. A supplied caddy makes handling, transport and storage more convenient for pool maintenance teams.

Powered by a 24V DC dual-drive motor, the Dolphin Wave 80 is built for dependable commercial pool cleaning. It also comes with a two-year warranty.

Who Is the Dolphin Wave 80 Pool Vacuum Best Suited For?

The Dolphin Wave 80 pool cleaner is designed for small to medium-sized commercial swimming pools up to 20 metres long. It can be a practical option for:

• Hotels and resorts: Help maintain clean swimming pools for guests.

• Campgrounds and holiday parks: Support regular pool maintenance during periods of frequent use.

• Schools: Simplify routine cleaning of swimming facilities.

• Commercial aquatic facilities: Reduce the manual effort involved in everyday pool cleaning.

When selecting a commercial pool cleaner, operators should consider pool dimensions, surface type, expected debris levels and cleaning frequency to ensure the equipment suits their facility.

Dolphin Wave 80 Pool Cleaner vs a Traditional Pool Vacuum

A traditional manual pool vacuum relies on an operator to guide the cleaning head and cover the required surfaces. This can take considerable time, particularly when regular cleaning is needed.

The Dolphin Wave 80 pool cleaner automates much of this process by navigating the pool and cleaning the floor, walls and waterline within a selected cycle. Its key advantages include:

• Automated cleaning with CleverClean navigation.

• Coverage of multiple pool surfaces.

• Interchangeable fine and ultra-fine filtration options.

• Selectable cleaning cycles.

• A remote control for manual operation when required.

For commercial facilities seeking to streamline routine maintenance, a robotic pool cleaner can help reduce the hands-on effort involved in keeping a pool clean. Water testing, chemical balancing and other essential pool maintenance tasks are still necessary.
